Founded in 2012, Black Shuck Distillery is a true Norfolk family venture built on craft, curiosity and a deep love of local heritage. What began as a family project has grown into a thriving distillery producing an award‑winning range of Gins, Rums, Vodkas, Liqueurs and Schnapps — all created with a touch of Norfolk magic.

Our name is inspired by the ancient legend of Black Shuck, the ghostly hound said to roam the coastline and lanes of East Anglia. Rather than fear the tale, we embraced it, weaving its mystery and folklore into every bottle filled.

Today, visitors can explore our distillery in Hindolveston, enjoy tastings, discover our story and experience the warm welcome that defines our family business. Whether you’re discovering a new favourite or returning for something familiar, we’re proud to share the spirit of Norfolk with every pour.
