ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

We have plenty of parking space for cars and coaches.  

There are disabled parking bays which are situated a few metres from the tasting room entry doors.

If you have mobility concerns please contact us in advance of your visit so that we can reassure you that we can meet your needs.

All members of the Black Shuck team are well trained in welcoming visitors experiencing the effects of dementia.

We do ask that you let us know at the time of booking so that we can be fully prepared. 

We can also offer private tours for very small groups if preferred.  At these sessions we can keep noise to a minimum and we will go with the flow to meet the needs of the group.  

We also have fidget blankets available - just ask.

The tasting room and distillery are on one level.  However the toilets are accessed via 5 steps.

We do have a platform lift for wheelchair users to ensure that everyone can reach all areas.

The cloakrooms include a disabled access toilet designed for wheelchair users.

Black Shuck Distillery Tours are most suited to over 18s.  If you wish to bring children with you on a tour then please let us know at the time of booking so that we can make suitable arrangements.  

We have activity books and activities available on request.  

Please understand that we cannot accept dogs in the main distillery building for health, safety  and food hygeine reasons.  

We can accomodate well behaved dogs in the tasting room but we do ask you to let us know that you will be bringing them when you book so that we can be suitbaly prepared.

At the distillery we extend a warm welcome to anyone with a sight impairment.  Our tours are multi sensory.  There are stories to listen to, samples to taste, embossed bottles to hold and aromas to enjoy.

We do ask that you let us know when you book if any of your group has additional needs so that we can be sure to give them a sensory packed experience.
